In total there were 537 new sims which after removing renames and 22 mainland sims comes to 448 new estate regions slightly less than previous weeks . This compares with 310 regions going off-line – Again when you remove the renames, mainland sims and also the 31 special ACS single event Heroes regions – this is a loss of 212 estate regions. The prior three weeks have been stable at a loss of 63 ,69 & 63 estate regions each.

The 22 new Mainland sims are technically not new as they are Corsican generic named sims (corsica_reg1, corsica_reg2 & corsica_reg8 ) being given proper names – These 22 Sims tend to be large full sized protected water regions so I doubt any will be up for auction in the future.

The new islands include small additons to both the Caledon , Yedo & ZoHa estates amongst others . Here is a picture of me at the Zombie Love Region … I saw no zombies .

I tried to TP to Boy Toy Island but was refused entry … so saw no Boy Toys either

Just looking at the names of the 310 sims which went off line this week doesn’t yield much information about who is pulling out – They seem to be spread across estates owners – though the Serenity and Brinkerhead estates do stand out .

On looking at the creation dates (When they were first seen) of the sims going off line most of the 212 estates disappearing predate the new land store (and the new purchase prices /launch of opensims which happened round the same time ) – 49 of the estates offline went online in the past 2 months.

With yesterdays final naming of the remaining generic Gaeta sims finished this brings the total size of Main Grid Mainland to 4899 regions. There are also 18269 Estate regions.
